On February 14th, Swim Across America is hosting a National, open invitation fundraising event, “Swim Quick,” as a tribute to the legendary coach Richard Quick
Join us in swimming on February 14th, in a united, national effort to stand with Richard and his family while they fight this battle. Together, swimmers across the world will jump in the water knowing that someone, somewhere else, is swimming too. The energy of our collective efforts and prayers will not only give great comfort to Richard and his family, but will remind us that we are all in this fight together. If you can’t swim on February 14th, swim whenever you would like. Don’t forget to tell us about your experience by posting on our discussion board.

Simply go online : http://www.usms.org/longdist/ldnats09/1hrentry.pdf and print out the entry form. Complete your one hour effort during the month of January. Have your counter record cumulative split at each 50 flip turn , and send in your entry to Janae McCullough, Gig Harbor , Washington. Results will be available mid March. Be sure to read the rules on the entry form. Please also send email to Matt Gilson : mgilson@metlife.com with your name, gender, age, & distance swam.
