The Team: The Jewish Community Center is a fitness facility that includes a Master’s swim program.
Job Description. The JCC is seeking a dynamic, experienced swim coach to supervise, manage and facilitate weekly practices (3 per week) and occasional swim meets.
Duties and Responsibilities. The proposed coach will have the following duties and responsibilities:
· Develop short- and long-term plans that target pre-specified competitions;
· Plan and execute workouts for the team;
· Help adult swimmers of all levels to improve their swimming skills and assist them in meeting their personal goals;
· Encourage participation and assist in building team unity;
Hours.
· Tuesdays, 6:15-7:15am
· Thursdays, 6:15-7:15am
· Sundays, 7:15-8:15am
Qualifications.
· Prior coaching experience;
· Patience and desire to lead a diverse group of adults;
· Ability to create and maintain a season plan targeted toward pre-defined competitions for swimmers of varied levels of swimming ability;
· Interest in a hands-on coaching format;
· Ability to work with adult swimmers of all abilities; from recreational/fitness to competitive.
