From the President - 2/16/08

Hello NEM Swimmers!

Next mini-meet is on Sunday, Feb. 24 at MIT in Cambridge, MA. A chance to swim in MIT’s state-of-the-art new pool! Please note that the facility opens at 9 a.m. on Sunday, so no point in getting there earlier, you won’t get in.

The deadline for entries for the SCY Championships at Harvard is February 22 – so don’t delay. Late entries were not accepted last year. (Go to http://www.meetresults.com/2008/nelmscscy/)

For details on these and other meets go to: http://www.swimnem.org/wordpress/meets-events/

For those who have still not renewed their registration for 2008, on-line USMS registration is possible! Please go to  http://registration.usms.org/ and follow the instructions.

The preliminary 2007 USMS Top-Ten SCM is attached. Please check and inform Jason Eaddy (jason@elys.com) of any errors/omissions ASAP.

Those going to the Worlds in Perth, Australia are asked to inform Cheryl Kupan (ckupan@aol.com) ASAP so that she may put some relays together.
