Double congratulations to Minutemen and, in particular, to Jarrod Shoemaker, qualifying for the 2008 Olympics in the triathlon. Minutemen was also selected by USMS as the host of the 2009 5k/10k USMS Postal Championship.

If you’re thinking about going to Perth next year for the Worlds, consult our dedicated website (http://www.swimnem.org/wordpress/perth/) and send your name to Cheryl Kupan, who’s helping to coordinate the NEM Team.

USMS raised their fees by $5, so our registration fee for 2008 is increasing by the same amount, to $40. You will be receiving your renewal form shortly. It can also be downloaded from the web (http://www.swimnem.org/docs/08NEMRegForm.pdf) and mailed in. On-line registration is in the works, but not quite ready.
